Brica AirShutter is a stand-alone device that connects to DSLR cameras with a USB cable. It creates an ad-hoc WiFi network that your android device can then connect to. STEP 1.
Currently the app is only available for Android device users, press the download app button above or click here, to download and after the download is finished, Install the app using the file manager on your android device. Please make sure to enable installation from 3rd party on your settings menu.

STEP 2.
Connect the Airshutter unit with the DSLR using USB cable that is provided with your DSLR to ensure compatibility, turn on the Airshutter unit first, and then turn on your DSLR. (remember to plug the USB connector to the proper port)



STEP 3.
Turn on the WiFi on your smartphone, then look for "Airshutter" on the WiFi list on your smartphone/Tablet, when found connect to it.
When asked for password, please enter the default password, which can be found on the manual book.



STEP 4.
Start the app that was downloaded and installed on STEP 1, long press the "Connect to DSLR" button, it will then show you a dialog box to enter the IP Address, enter 192.168.1.1 on the IP address dialog box if it's different then press the "OK" button.
If everything was done correctly then it will show the main menu.





STEP 5.
On the main menu screen it should show something like this (different typpe of DSLR may show this menu differently)

Q: DSLR can't connect / hard to connect to Airshutter
A: Make sure to turn on the Airshutter unit first then turn on the DSLR

Q: Live view doesn't automatically shown in smartphone when Airshutter is connected to DSLR
A: Please activate auto live-view on settings

Q: Focus point doesn't change when touching the screen on smartphone that is connected to DSLR via Airshutter
A: Please activate auto-focus change on settings

Q: On the smartphone Airshutter app, how to connect to DSLR
A: long press the connect to DSLR button until the IP address dialog is shown, make sure the number shown are 192.168.1.1 and then press OK.
If still can't connect, then turn off the app, Airshutter, and DSLR, then turn on the Airshutter first, then DSLR, after that, connect the WiFi then run the app

Q: App always hang when used after the smartphone is connected to DSLR via Airshutter
A: DSLR model is not compatible, make sure your DSLR is compatible model

Q: Airshutter powerbank doesn't work
A: Turn on the Airshutter after connecting it to the device you want
